signs contract with Mint Wireless for mobile payment solution
Mint Wireless Limited (ASX: MNW) (“Mint Wireless”) has signed a three (3) year contract with Amalgamated Pest Control Pty Ltd (“APC”), who will utilise Mint Wireless’ mobile payment solution for their fleet of over 300 field technicians in Australia. APC will add mobile payments support for their initial 150 field technician deployment in February 2012, with up to another 150 devices being added in Q2 2012 once the initial rollout has been successfully completed.
APC has over 80 years experience in the Australian pest control industry and has grown to be Australia’s largest privately-owned pest control company. In 2011, APC selected TouchStar, a leading enterprise field automation solutions company, to deliver a state-of-the-art mobile computing system to their field technicians. The technology solution has simplified the field technicians’ record keeping and report generation tasks by incorporating functionality that includes invoicing, inspections and now payment through Mint Wireless’ mobile payment software and the Mint Managed Payment Service. The solution will provide APC with the ability to accept Credit Card payments (phase one) and EFTPOS transactions (phase two) for the collection of payments from pest control customers.
